Hello Friends! Tournament time is upon us! With the cancellation of the 303 open in Denver, my phone has been ringing off the hook from players trying to get in. Unfortunately, at this time we can’t take any more entries. We are at 82 players currently. We plan on starting our tee times as scheduled on Friday morning. Our contingency plan in the event of lingering weather is to have a shotgun start on Friday afternoon. We will be monitoring the weather and course conditions closely and we do not anticipate a change in schedule, but we will be prepared in case we have to make ajustments. The weather will be great Friday-Sunday! See everyone up there and safe travels!

The Pendaries Spring Classic is finally upon us!! After months of anticipation and preparation we are finally set to go. This letter is to give you as much information as possible so that your experience is a memorable one and you will return again and again!

Check In/Tee Times
You may check in on Thursday night at Pendaries Bar between 5:00-7:00pm. Tee times will be posted on PDGA.com and on the Pendaries Disc Golf Website by Wednesday, April 17. They will be posted at Pendaries Bar on Thursday morning. Please arrive at hole 1 at least 30 minutes before your tee time. There will be no players meeting, a TD will go over the rules before your tee time. Rounds 2&3 tee times will be posted as soon as possible after the conclusion of the rounds.
Weather
The average high for Rociada in April is around 60 with average lows near 30. It is a mountain climate situated at 7500ft elevation so be prepared for anything!!
Lodging Check In
If you are staying at Pendaries, you may check in between 9:00am-5:00pm at the Lodge Office located next to the Bar. You may check in after 5:00pm at Pendaries Bar.
What to eat and drink?
Pendaries Restaurant will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 4:00-8:30pm with the bar remaining open into the night! The grill at the Pro Shop will be open from 8:00am-2:00pm.
Local Services
Rociada is a small town with limited services. I highly recommend you bring everything you may need with you when you arrive at Pendaries. The closest grocery and convenience stores are approximately 20 minutes away in the town of Mora. Las Vegas, NM is about 30 minutes away and has all services you may need. The Bar and Restaurant accepts major credit cards, but there is no ATM available on site. If you wish to purchase anything from our disc golf vendors or purchase raffle tickets I recommend you bring some cash with you.
Discs and Apparel
If you did not select the t-shirt option with your entry, you will still be able to purchase them at the tournament. We will also be selling tournament stamped discs with the artwork on the header of this letter all weekend. Other regional disc golf merchants and artists will also be on hand selling their products.
Players Party and Raffle!
On Saturday night at 7:00pm, we will be holding a players party and raffle with tons of disc golf equipment, art, hotel vouchers, and many other items! There will be great drink specials and appetizers provided. Kay Dorman will be selling raffle tickets all weekend long!
Practice Rounds/Cart Rentals
You may practice any time. There are no green fees if you wish to walk the course but there are fees if you would like to rent a cart for your practice round. Cart rentals will be available Wednesday, April 17 through the tournament for $16.00 per cart per round for two people.
What Tees am I playing from?
All professional divisions (MPO, MPM, MPG, FPO,), advanced men (MA1), advanced masters men (MM1), will be playing from the LONG tees.
All other divisions will be playing from the SHORT tees.
